According to Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals, Sheriff Deputy officers discovered a Methamphetamine lab at 926 Navaho Lane in the Kodak area on Sunday.
Officers from Sevier and Grainger Co. Sheriffs Office went to the residence to find a runaway juvenile from Grainger County.
When officers arrived at the home several subjects ran on foot and during the search of the property components of a meth lab were found in an outbuilding on the property.
Members of Sevier County Sheriffs Office Meth Response team along with the Tennessee Meth Task Force responded to the lab where it was disassembled and turned over to a hazardous waste clean-up crew.
The investigation into exactly who the operator of the lab was is still ongoing at time of release.
The runaway juvenile was apprehended on the property and transported to Grainger County. Charges are pending at this time.
