The University of Tennessee Medical Center is hosting a free community health fair in Seymour, 8 a.m. – Noon on Wednesday, Sept. 3 at UT Family Physicians Seymour, located at 11606 Chapman Highway, Suite 2.
Come take advantage of the free health screenings and services, meet the staff and tour the facility, which also serves as the site of the recently opened University After-Hours Clinic. The services and screenings offered at the health fair will include:
Prostate cancer screenings for men 50 and older or 45 and older who are African-American or have a family history of prostate cancer. Screening includes digital rectal exam and PSA blood test.
Comprehensive Cardiovascular Testing to include lipid profile, glucose blood pressure and body mass index. Eight-hour fasting is required for this testing.
Pulmonary testing.
