With as much time as the 15-year old Blount County resident has spent in 411 Motor Speedway’s Winner’s Circle of late, Tiffany Sheehan might start adding fixtures and decorations to give the bland-looking concrete a more homey feel…just as long as she don’t paint it pink and plant flowers in the pits.
The teenaged dirt-track racing phenom won for the sixth time in her last seven starts in the weekly Truck Series at the legendary Seymour dirt track Saturday night. She held off track veterans Robert Martin, of Maryville, and Freddie Hillard, of Kodak, who finished second and third, respectively.
Meanwhile, Knoxville’s Charles Hurst continued a successful run of late in the popular Late Model Feature with another top finish in this week’s 20-car field. Hurst beat our second-place finisher Ross White, of Karns, and Scott Gardner, of Knoxville.
Seymour’s Rusty Ballenger finished in 11th place, Frog Ingle finished in 15th place and Ron Chase finished in 19th place in the Late Model Feature Saturday night.
