According to Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals a Knox county man has been charged in connection with a rape that occurred in Sevier County.
Seals states that the Sevier County Sheriffs Office responded to Ft Sanders-Sevier Medical Center to investigate a rape that occurred on Saturday July 12th 2008. Detective John Brown responded to the hospital and after an investigation warrants were issued for the perpetrator.
The Suspect, Odie D. Moore age 37 of 608 Midlake Drive, in Knoxville, was arrested a short time later and was arraigned before a magistrate. A $50,000.00 bond was set and a preliminary hearing has been set for August 13th in Sevier County General Sessions Court.
