Rick Hadwick is asking for the community’s help with accommodations for three coaches who will be in town to help Hadwick run an AYSO camp in Seymour from July 14-through-18.
Hadwick says he needs at least two families to host three of the camp instructors for the week. Hadwick explains that any family that agrees to host one of the camp’s coaches would in turn receive a scholarship for a young soccer player to go to the prestigious and comprehensive camp for free.
Hadwick says this year’s camp will be the first of its kind in Seymour but he’s hoping this year’s week-long soccer workshop will be the first of many to come.
“With regard to the camp itself, we try to provide a fun environment where the kids can enjoy learning about the game,” Hadwick stated. “(Campers will learn) not just the skills and moves in soccer but also they will learn what the game is all about. This will be the first AYSO camp in Seymour and we are hoping to run many more.”... read the rest of the story by Subscribing now.
