


Two of the three vehicle wreck Sunday afternoon on Chapman Hwy hit head on.
The wreck near Zion Hill Road was called into the Seymour Volunteer Fire Department at 7:12 PM. Firefighters arrived at 7:20 PM to find a three vehicle accident. Of the three vehicles in the wreck, two cars had hit head on and the third had driver side damage.
Nine patients were treated and transported. Five of them by ground and four via Life Star.
The female driver of one of the vehicle had to be extricated with the "Jaws of Life".
She was freed at 7:41 PM. All patients were taken to UT hospital.
Support 2, Squad 3, Engine 15, Squad 18, and 13 firefighters responded to the accident.
Sevier Co. Rescue Squad also responded.
Sevier Co. Sheriff's Department and Tennessee Highway Patrol also were responded to the accident.
