Miss Long, daughter of Randy and Dee Long, of Seymour, and granddaughter of Jerry and Virge McKinnon of St. James, Missouri, and Frank and Joyce Long of Walland, Tennessee, was selected as a state finalist earlier this year and will represent Seymour in the state pageant to be held later this summer in Franklin, Tennessee. Stormie’s activities include basketball, soccer, dancing, singing, roller-skating, and helping other children. She also enjoys computer related activities and reading. Outdoor activities and time spent with family and friends.

American Miss Tennessee Pageant to be held, August 30-31, 2008, at the beautiful Franklin Cool Springs Marriott in Franklin, Tennessee. The pageant is held for girls ages 4 through 6. The winner of the pageant will receive a $1,000 cash reward, the official crown and banner, a bouquet of roses, and air transportation to compete in the national pageant in Disneyland in California. Pageants are held for girls ages four to eighteen, in five age groups.

The National American Miss Pageants are dedicated to celebrating America’s greatness and encouraging its future leaders. Each year the pageant award thousands in scholarships and prizes to recognize and assist in the development of young women nationwide.  All activities are age appropriate and family oriented.
