Our front page story last week, “Something’s Got To Be Done” received lots of phone calls with similar situations.

One person called, who we’ll call Ned, to complain that his neighbors have been storing vehicles in their yard like it was a licensed junk yard. He said the neighbors didn’t care that it was causing an eye sore, a potential danger to children, and a health hazard. Not to mention the devaluing of the subject property and neighboring properties.

Ned tried in vain calling every county and state official to get the mess cleaned up, but since it was in the county, his calls were futile.

It’s a shame that the collective mindset views the only way to control the masses is thru additional laws.

We, as in the people of the United States were, at one time, the least controlled people in the world.
