The Tennessee Smokies (24-33) won their forth straight game by beating the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx (34-23) at Pringles Park, 9-5 Sunday afternoon.
Sam Fuld launched a three-run homer down the rightfield line in the eighth inning, helping the Smokies overcome a 4-3 deficit.
The Smokies build an early 2-0 advantage when West Tenn scored four in the third to lead 4-2.
West Tenn held the two run lead into the top of the seventh when with two retired Matt Craig, who was 4-for-4 in the game smacked an opposite field homerun to right. The round-tripper closed the gap to one run at 4-3.
