The 2008 registration deadline for the open event competitions at this year’s Tennessee Senior Olympics state finals is quickly approaching.
Tennessee seniors can register to compete in archery, tennis, pickleball, racquetball, cycling (5K/20K), the 5K and 10K runs, or a one-mile power walk. Registration for these events is open to all seniors who did not participate or qualify in the district games.
The Tennessee Senior Olympics state finals will be held July 18-24 in Williamson County. Events are open to seniors 50 and older; however, participants who are 49 years old are eligible to compete as long as their 50th birthday occurs before the end of 2008.
