Seymour High School's Todd Ogle recently received the Derek Rogers Memorial Scholarship for 2008. The scholarship is given to a student athlete who has excelled in two of the three sports played by Rogers, a former All-State football player, All-District baseball player and All-District golfer at SHS.
Ogle earned All-Region honors as a quarterback/defensive back on the Eagles' 2008 football squad and was recently named All-District after a banner senior season on the diamond with the Seymour baseball team.
"It's a great honor to be chosen for this scholarship and I'm proud of the fact (Seymour Head football coach and athletic director Gary Householder) recommended me," said Ogle.
