Don’t let your children fall into a summer rut of inactivity.  Come shake your stuff and have a ball with other Knoxville families at Boogie Down Baby.  We'll be serving grilled hamburgers, iced watermelon, and hot dance hits from the 70s and 80s, as well as the 90s and today! 

The family dance party Saturday, May 24th from 1:00 – 4:00pm, will celebrate summer as we open the patio, bring in the beach balls and boogie down.

Knoxville Food and Drink will be transformed into a family friendly afternoon dance party as babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers and parents come together for the healthy active event.   Hula hoops, streamers, scarves, egg shakers, lights and more will lure the young ones to shake their little booties.   Boogie Down Baby is a community event that encourages healthy active fun and promotes family togetherness.

New this month, Stretch-n-Grow, the world’s largest children's fitness program, will offer a free trial class at the event.  An infant massage class to improve the bonding between baby and parents will also be provided.  And don’t forget the parent perk: free chair massages from Natural Alternatives Salon. 

What summer kick-off party is complete without beach balls.  The first one hundred kids will receive a beach ball to take home.  All adults will also receive a goody bag with coupons valued at more than $200.  Plus, door prizes to be given away including tickets to Dollywood.
