

Mary Lee Reed and Gene were present at Seymour First Baptist Church Saturday morning representing Keep Sevier Beautiful.
Merwyn Borders is the Seymour Keep Sevier Beautiful representative, but was unable to attend so the Reeds stepped in to act as the distribution point for the volunteers.
About 22 volunteers showed up to clean up the Seymour Roads in an effort to clean up the debris in spite of the rain.
“Mostly the kids are 4Hers with their parents that showed up,” Mary Lee told the Seymour Herald.
The Reeds claim that this is the most people they have even had that turned up to volunteer for the cleanup event.
