County Commissioner Judy Godfrey was again on the hot seat recently at another group North Knob Creek meeting concerning her unpopular voting practices.
This group, different than the North Knob Creek Community Association (NKCCA), met recently to discuss their concerns of a serious lack of planning, lack of infrastructure, and the concern
of several violation of the Sevier County Zoning Resolution.
This Knob Creek Group wonders how and why the Sevier County Commissioner, Judy Godrey, along with her counterparts could approve rezoning of property without first and foremost, complying
with the Zoning Resolutions enforced by the Sevier County Regional
Planning Committee.
The commissioners will address these concerns at the upcoming Monday evening County
Commissioners Meeting.

The main concern of the group is the proposed rezoning of what is known as Sharp Farm, near Lexington Place in Seymour. The group discussed concerns for the blanket approval of developer’s rezoning requests.
According to the Sevier County Zoning Resolution, in order to approve zoning to R-2 it states . . . any R-2 district shall be served by public water and sewer systems
