Dr. Mark Martin, Coordinator of The Bible Training Center of Harrison Chilhowee Baptist Academy in Seymour announces the availability of an upcoming course entitled “Pastoral Leadership in a Small Church.” 

Martin, who also serves as pastor of Smoky View Baptist Church in Maryville, will teach the course dealing with the dynamics of ministry in small congregations.  

The class will meet Saturday mornings starting March 22 and concluding May 17.

The Bible Training Center is a biblical studies program primarily for bi-vocational ministers.  Pastors, Sunday School teachers, lay leaders and others who may be interested in learning more about the Bible are encouraged to consider enrollment.  The BTC offers students the Diploma in Biblical Studies from Southern Baptist Convention Seminary Extension.

Nominal cost for the class includes the price of books and a small tuition fee. Financial assistance is available.
