Mountain Hope Good Shepherd Clinic, Inc. is presenting the third annual Pirate’s Ball fund-raiser sponsored by Ripleys Aquarium of the Smokies, at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2008. What a great way to beat the February Blues! You can picture yourself in a tropical climate and enjoy the music and dancing, food and drink, and special party for the kids.

“This event just keeps on getting better! We hope that everyone who came last year will attend again this year and bring a friend who missed the fun!” said Mary Vance, Executive Director of the Clinic.

Make plans to be a part of the most fun event of the year! Tickets cost $100.00 per couple, $60.00 per single and $10.00 per child. Parking in the city garage behind the Aquarium is free, thanks to the generosity of the City of Gatlinburg. This year, Greystone Lodge at the Aquarium is offering a special room rate of $35.00 for people attending the Ball.

In addition to pirate hats and eye patches, party favors will include a special “message in a bottle” (one for each couple or single). Bottles will contain your own piece of pirate booty (gemstone) and six special bottles will contain a hand-crafted piece of jewelry made from semi-precious stones.

Your attendance of our premier winter fundraising event will help to support quality healthcare for Sevier County’s families that have no health insurance. Services are provided to children and adults and fees are determined by the total household income of the patient. Your support will help keep our fees and costs low.
