Kelly Thomas who was appointed to the State Criminal Court of Appeals. Meares is a graduate of Duke University and Vanderbilt Law School, and has 23 years experience as an attorney. Judge Meares adds, “I know first hand how to handle the tough criminal cases I now hear as Judge. I believe in individual rights, our jury system and strict enforcement of the law.”
