According to Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals the third subject wanted in connection with a double shooting incident in Sevier County on Sunday Jan. 6th 2008 has been apprehended.
Seals states that Johnny Cordova Ramirez was taken into custody in the St. Louis Mo. Area on Friday 1/11/2008 by U.S. Marshall’s Service and St. Louis Co. Sheriffs Department.
According to Seals, after learning the suspect had fled the area his investigators enlisted the help of the Marshall’s Service to help locate and arrest Ramirez.
Following several leads, Ramirez was arrested without incident at a home in the St. Louis area.
Ramirez is in custody in St. Louis Co. jail at this time. SCSD investigators will be working with St. Louis authorities and will be awaiting a court hearing on extradition to bring Ramirez back to Sevier County on the 2 counts of attempted first degree murder charges.
