According to Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals SCSD is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Sunday night Jan. 13th 2008.

Seals states that SCSD received a hold up alarm at the Dam Store located at Boat Launch Rd. at approximately 7:25 PM.

Officers arrived and found that the store had been robbed by a black male wearing a blue bandanna over his face and a dark colored coat with fur around the hood pulled around his head.

The subject went into the store and brandished a pistol and demanded the clerk give him money.

The subject fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money driving a small dark colored passenger car.
