According to Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals 2 subjects have been arrested and another is being sought in connection with the double shooting that occurred on Sunday night in Sevier County.
Seals states that Kevin Anthony Dickson Jr. age 26 of 119 Scenic Drive Sevierville and Jessie James Davis age 27 of 1103 Ranier Way Dandridge have both been arrested and charged with 2 counts of Attempted 1st Degree Murder in connection with the Sunday evening shooting incident.
Warrants have been issued for a 3rd subject and he is being sought at the time of release. The 3rd subject has been identified as Johnny Ramirez of Kodak and it is believed that he has fled the state. Dickson was taken into custody around noon on Monday by Capt. Jeff McCarter and Det. Matthew Cubberley, who are investigating the shooting, in a home in Pigeon Forge without incident.
The SCSD Detectives were assisted by Pigeon Forge PD officers in the arrest. Dickson was also charged with 2 cts of Aggravated Assault in connection with same incident. Davis was taken into custody later in the day on Monday by McCarter and Cubberley at a location in Jefferson County without incident. Both men are being held in Sevier County Jail without bond pending arraignment before a judge.
Capt. McCarter states that Detectives are working with other agencies in an attempt to located the 3rd male and that warrants charging him with attempted 1st degree murder have been issued at this time. Both shooting victims are still in UT Hospital recovering from their injuries.
