The years just seem to be flying by. I still sometimes write the wrong year on checks and other documents.

To think that I have lived through a period of time when during my younger years there was no such thing as a cellular phone, color TV, satellites, GPS, Walkman, electronic calculators, computers, Apple, Microsoft, CNN, MSNBC, the variety of games, and the internet, just to mention a few.

It makes me realize just how much everything, including our little community, has changed.

You know, I don’t recall my friends asking for $300 dollar games for Christmas either. My best times were playing cowboys and Indians and building toy log cabins.
