According to Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals his office is investigating a theft at a Seymour convenient store. Seals states that on 12/17/2007 at app. 8:15 PM a white male entered the Stop and Save store on Chapman Hwy in Sevier County.
The male approached the register and when the clerk rang up his purchase and the cash register drawer opened the white male grabbed an undisclosed amount of money and ran out the door.
The male was wearing a grey hooded jacket w/camouflage hood. The male left the scene in a white Dodge Dakota truck extended cab. The same vehicle and a male subject were involved in an earlier incident in Knox County.
Detectives issued a photo of the subject that was caught on camera at the Cargo Market on Chapman Highway.
