According to Sevier County Sheriff Ron Seals deputies were called to the Aztec Market, located at 536 Ashville Hwy,  on a burglar alarm at app. 3:00am

Officers arrived and found that the security locks on the front door of the store had been forced off and a concrete block had been thrown through the front window in an attempt to burglarize the business.

The stores video surveillance camera had captured a maroon vehicle with 2 white males that were attempting to burglarize the store.

Sgt. Darrell Lee was responding to the scene and saw a similar vehicle and subjects in the parking lot of a nearby store and a further investigation revealed that they were the same two subjects responsible for the attempted burglary at the Aztec store a short time earlier.
