12-05-2007 at around 2:45 P.M. Seymour Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to Boyds Creek Hwy @ Van Haven Dr. on a motor vehicle accident.
Firefighters arrived to find a three car accident consisting of an SUV and a sedan had hit head on.
The Suv was on its top with a male driver trapped inside. Firefighters and SCAS paramedics removed windows and extricated the driver through the window openings. The driver was transported by SCAS #9 to SVFD St.5 were a landing zone for two Life Star aero medical helicopters.
