The Tennessee Farm Service Agency (FSA) State Office Management Team will hold a public meeting in Sevier County to solicit public comment regarding the Tennessee FSA proposed office restructuring plan in which Sevier County Office is being considered for closure

Provisions outlined in The President's Management Agenda of 2002 as well as federal budget constraints have required Tennessee FSA to re-evaluate the way the Agency conducts business in the 21st century; thereby necessitating closure or consolidation of FSA offices in Tennessee and across the U.S.

There will be a public meeting for Sevier County farmers and ranchers offering a forum for producers to comment on the proposed closure of the Sevier County office.

October 25 at 7:00 p.m. at the Sevierville Civic Center, Council Room at 200 Gary Wade Boulevard, Sevierville.
