Authorities have released the name of a Douglasville, Ga., man who died as a result of a construction accident Wednesday.

Joey Agan, 32, and a co-worker were installing a beam on an upper level of a condominium development on Gatlin Drive when a support gave way, causing Agan to fall from the beam to his death, according to Police Chief Randy Brackins.

The Gatlinburg Fire Department responded to the scene.

The case has been turned over to the Tennessee Occupational Safety and Health Administration for investigation.
