A van with a mother and daughter were involved in an accident at Wye Road and Chapman Highway Monday afternoon.
The driver of a white van, Tammy Reynolds of Seymour, with her daughter Deanna, were turning onto Chapman Highway from Wye Road when they were struck by another van driven by an unnamed female driver who was heading towards Sevierville.
The impact was severe enough to have totaled the right front end passenger front end of the Reynolds' van.

"I have lived here for 15 years and I know how dangerous this road is," Tammy Reynolds told the Seymour Herald. "I turn onto Chapman Highway 10 times a day and I know this other van was in the turn lane when I saw it."
