A 30-8 win over county foe Pigeon Forge enabled the 5-3 Seymour Eagles to end an up-and-down 2007 middle school football season on a high note.

“It was a great overall team effort,” Seymour head coach Chad Pfeffinger said regarding his squad’s victory. “We seemed to get good effort from everyone who played and it was a great win for our team.

“I’m proud of all of our players and I’m really going to miss all of the eighth-graders.”

Playmaking Seymour running back Levi Medley ended his fine eighth grade season in style by scoring on a pair of touchdown runs to put his team in front early on.
