According to Sheriff Ron Seals 2 people were found dead inside a vehicle at a residence at 524 Emerts View Cir. in Seymour on Sunday Sept. 2nd 2007.

Seals states that his Dept received a 911 call to the residence at approximately 11:21PM and responding officers found Alice Neff age 42 and her 21 year old daughter, Hillary Neff, deceased inside a car that was in the garage of the home.

Another occupant of the home arrived to find the two in the car, which was still running at time of discovery.

Evidence found at the scene by Sevier County Sheriff Detectives indicates that the two died of carbon monoxide poisoning and preliminarily is being treated as a murder/suicide.

No signs of foul play were found at the scene.
