A single engine four place airplane ran off the runway today while attempting to land.

The pilot, the sole occupant of the four place airplane was flying a borrowed airplane. He sustained no injuries.

He had landed at the Seymour Airpark when he noticed that the short grass was wet and he was not able to get the brakes to stop the plane before it left the runway went down the end of the runway, across the two lane street and into a fence and trees, according to the owner of the plane.

The pilot was on Instrument Flight Plan and decided to cancel the flight plan when he had visual contact with the airpark.

After he made a low flight and executed a go-around he made a final approach and landed. To his shock, the plane did not stop due to the wet condition of the grass runway, according to the owner.
