Seymour resident Angela Karl was named Miss Tennessee American Pre-Teen 2007 this past Sunday evening, August 19, 2007 in Clarksville Tennessee.

Karl is a 13 year old eighth grader at Seymour Middle School. As reigning Queen she will travel to Buena Vista, Florida in November to represent the state of Tennessee in the National competition where she will have a chance to win a $3000 college scholarship and other valuable prizes.

As the Queen Karl was awarded $500 cash, a choice of a $500 gown, expenses to the National competition, two tickets to Disney World in Orlando, where she will ride in the Disney Parade, a years pageant consulting and a $1000 photo layout along with a crown, banner and trophy.

Angela is the daughter of Joe and Michele Karl of Seymour and sister of Matt Karl, a sophomore at Seymour High School. She is on the honor roll and a member of BETA, Chorus and a Seymour Middle School Cheerleader.
