A two car wreck tied up traffic on Hwy 411 (Maryville Hwy) for some time Thursday around noon as one car came to rest crossways on the highway.

A Ford driven by Maryanne Cusick was headed towards Maryville while the Chevy Caviler driven by Ray Masterson of Seymour, was headed towards Chapman Highway.

"Maryanne was heading towards the Seymour Business Park when I noticed this car weaving in and out and the next thing was he clipped her which spun her into the hill and I bounced back to the street," Cusick's boyfriend, Kyle Hanley of Knoxville, told the Seymour Herald, "After he hit her, she said he kept going until his wheel fell off," Hanley added.

Masterson received minor injuries to his arm, his wife told the Herald.
