Sevierville, TN. The Sevier County Public Library System (SCPLS) is celebrating the final release of the J.K. Rowling book, ?Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.? The Sevier County Main Library, Seymour Branch and Kodak Branch Library have been taking names for people to receive the reading rights for the library-owned copies of the latest release at a special themed Harry Potter Party.
Names were drawn Friday, July 20 from an extensive waiting list. The lucky recipients will be the first to check out the books to read, enjoy and discover how the series ends. The release and check out party will be at the Sevier County Main Library Meeting Room at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, July 23, 2007.
Attendees to the party, who are invited to wear the costume of their favorite character, will be treated to cookies from The Bakery Lady in Seymour, and pumpkin juice to drink. For more information about this event, please call Heather at 573-0728.
