The Seymour Citizens are having a follow up meeting to their May 6th meeting with the Seymour commissioners.

The Commissioners have signed an agreement to let a 5 member Optimist Club develop 14 acres of land in a residential area for the purpose of a sports complex. The Knob Creek Community Association will be formed and commissioners and the Mayor of Sevier County will be questioned regarding their follow up to the May 6th meeting.
The group has sent an invitation to the commissioners Judy Godfrey and Buster Norton along with Mayor Larry Waters to attend the meeting.

At the May 6th meeting, nearly 100 people became very vocal when the commissioners made statements contrary to the facts, according to attendees.

A notice also was dispatched to the community requesting their attendance.
