Pigeon Forge, Tenn., May 15, 2007 – Miss Ellie is so ugly, she's cute! And she's out to prove it as a contestant in the 19th World's Ugliest Dog Contest. Miss Ellie, a dog from Gatlinburg, Tenn., who is a member of The Comedy Barn Theater canine family, is competing with 12 dogs for the title of World's Ugliest Dog. A 13 year-old Chinese Crested Hairless rescue dog originally from Knoxville, Tenn., Miss Ellie lives up to her breed name as a skinny little dog with almost no hair, warts, pimples, and a tongue that hangs out constantly because she does not have any front teeth.
