A motorcycle struck a car at the intersection of Chapman Highway and Macon Lane Wednesday morning around 8:30 A.M.

There were several witnesses that saw everything that happened.

One eye witness told the Seymour Herald how she saw it.

"I was heading south on Chapman, the motorcycle was next to me. We came to the intersection and a truck pulled out in front of us, we both put on our brakes, then a lady coming the other way didn't stop." stated Robin Valentine owner of Valentine's Market and Deli. "I swerved and missed her, but she hit him (the motorcycle), she didn't even hit her brakes, it's her fault. When I saw him (motorcycle driver) fly in the air, I just stopped."

Betty Seagle of Sevierville, driver of the vehicle that pulled in front of the motorcycle told the Seymour Herald, "I didn't see him at all."
