The Cherish the Child Foundation has recently donated two 12-passenger vans to the Smoky Mountain Children's Home.

One has been given to them already and the second is coming this week stated Todd Rose Executive Director of the Cherish the Child Foundation. The vans were purchased for between $18,500 and $18,800 each and both are 2006 Chevrolet 350 XL Vans.

"Because of the grants we received from the United Way of Sevier County and the Sunrise Foundation of Knoxville as well as from the fundraiser at Scenic Helicopter Tours, we were able to purchase the second vehicle," stated Rose.
