According the Sheriff Ron Seals dispatchers received a call about a burglary in progress at 1:36 p.m. Friday afternoon.
A 56-year-woman, who's name is Leilani Williams was found tied up when deputies arrived. She told deputies that two white men wearing black masks broke into her home by shattering the glass door in broad daylight. They then tied her up, threw her up against the wall and struck her in the face.
Williams has a 3-year-old grandchild who was present during the attack, but hid under a table, the sheriff said. The child was not hurt.
Williams was taken to the hospital and came home with bruises and cuts on her swollen face.
