The annual Pat Summitt Golf Tournament benefiting the Helen Ross McNabb Center will be held Monday, May 7 at Cherokee Country Club. Joining Summitt as host is Voice of the Lady Vols, Mickey Dearstone. Summit's past tournaments have raised over $300,000 for the center.
The Helen Ross McNabb Center is a regional, not-for-profit integrated system of mental health, substance abuse, and social services founded in 1948 by Mrs. McNabb. It was the first community mental health center in Tennessee and now serves 7,000 children, adults and families in 21 East Tennessee counties.
Awards will be given in each round for the best gross individual, best gross team, best low net team, closest to the pin and longest drive. Team and event sponsorships are available.
