An accident at the recently converted dirt racetrack at 411 backed up the traffic at the ticket booth Tuesday evening.

An unidentified individual broke his leg at around 6:00 P.M. and became the first off track accident of the season.

The Seymour Volunteer Fire Department, Sevier County Ambulances and the Sevier County Sheriff came to assist the individual who was in pain from the injury.

According to sources, the individual attempted to jump on a trailer, fell off and it rolled across one of his legs.
