How many times do you get the opportunity to play golf, have fun, enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Bent Creek Golf Course, and support children, scholarships and many other worthy causes in your community?
The Gatlinburg Rotary Club has openings for its annual Scramble Golf Tournament on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 4th at Bent Creek.  “If you have never played in this event, you’re missing out on a lot of fun, great golf and a chance to really support our community” says Randy Roberson, golf committee chair.
Thousands of dollars are raised each year from the golf tournament to provide financial support for The Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, local schools, Boy’s and Girl’s Club, police program for kids, Mountain Hope Clinic, Safe Space, Save A Child, Tremont school, Night Before Christmas, exchange student sponsorship, various scholarships, putting out flags for holidays, a new “dictionary project” for 3rd graders, The Anna Porter Public Library, White Oak Flats Cemetery, and other worthwhile community programs.
Corporate Sponsorships are $400, which includes a team of four golfers and 2 corporate signs honoring your support.  Individual golfers are welcomed for an entry fee of $75 and hole sponsorships are available for $50.  Registration is at 11AM, and the entry includes prizes on every hole, a putting contest, all food and beverages (including on-course refreshments, lunch, and a dinner/awards ceremony) door prizes, and much more.
To sign up for the tournament, please contact Mason Clinton at 865-436-3549.  To find out more about the opportunity for becoming a Gatlinburg Rotarian, please contact Gerry Martin on 865-430-3081.
