Denise Scruggs, 47, of Seymour, beloved wife, mother, nanny, sister and aunt was welcomed in to Heaven’s Gates on Wednesday July 26, 2006. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Frances Reagan Hobbs and Curtis Lynn Hobbs. She was a Sevier County School Bus Driver for 12 years.

Funeral service 10 AM Saturday at Atchley’s Seymour Chapel. Rev. Dallas Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Highland South Cemetery, nephews will serve as pallbearers. Master Sergeant Frank Wesley Wear, Jr., age 83 of Pigeon Forge, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at his home. He served his country during WWII in the Army Air Corp. in Europe. Frank was a member of the Masonic Order, Free and Accepted Masons. He worked for the World Bank building roads in Africa. In later years he worked as a school bus driver and at the bus garage for the Sevier County Board of Education.
Frank was born March 5, 1923. He was preceded in death by his wife Lorene Ogle Wear, his parents Frank W. and Della Fox Wear, and sibling Carl and Sam Wear, and Margie Walters.
