Meet Ralph McGill
Ralph McGill, Republican candidate for the US House of Representatives from Tennessee’s 2nd Congressional District, will be meeting and greeting patrons at Bob’s Mountaineer Restaurant on Saturday, May 27, 2006 from 8:00 am till 11:00 am.  It will be a good opportunity for Seymour residents to learn more about his campaign.

Weight Training Classes Offered
Sign up now of the weight training classes offered at the Sevierville Parks and Recreation Department. The Aerobic Weight Training Class is the ultimate exercise program that improves cardiovascular systems, burns calories, tones muscles, and improves strength and flexibility. This class combines aerobic exercise and weight training exercise – both types of exercise are important to total body fitness.
New session will start on June 1st., 2006

The Kodak Branch Library Book-into-Movie Program will feature the movie “Black Hawk Down” based on the Mark Bowden novel in remembrance of Memorial Day. The Kodak Branch Library features movies that were originally published as books. Black Hawk Down was the winner of two Academy Awards during 2001 and stars Josh Hartnett and Ewan McGregor.

Scuba classes
SCUBA CLASSES TO USE SEVIERVILLE COMMUNITY CENTER LAP LANES
The Sevierville Parks and Recreation Department announces that scuba classes will be using lap lanes at the Sevierville Community Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. Due to class usage, the lap and open areas of the pool may be limited. For more information, please call 453-5441.
