Faith in the Word Church is relocating from 10650 Chapman Highway to the corner of Simmons Road and Chapman Hwy, approximately .5 miles from previous location. The first Sunday church service will be held on April 2nd at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Wright invites everyone in Seymour and the surrounding counties to be their guest in their new building. It is real easy to find for those of you coming from Sevierville. Just take Chapman Hwy to Seymour and you will see the Church on the right one half mile past the Kroger.
Seymour area residents will know the building as the former home of Foothills Worship Center (formerly Maranatha Assembly of God).
Faith in the Word Church will be celebrating its 4th year in Seymour this June and is excited to be moving into the new facility.
Beginning at a local apartment complex before moving to the Seymour Business Park, the church then moved to the corner of where the new Pilot store is being built in Seymour. Now, they have their own church building and are excited about the change.
Pastor Wright stated, “The new property, with its 500 seat sanctuary and 7.8 acres of land, will make it possible for us to expand and grow so we can reach more people with the Good News.” Working with a local bank to help with the purchase Wright stated, “I would like to say a special thank you to the folks at Tennessee State Bank for making this purchase possible.”
Faith in the Word Church will begin Sunday services on April 2nd at 10:30 a.m. and Wednesday’s at 7 p.m. Please call 573-7174 with any questions about the ministry or church services. According to Wright, “We have lots seats to fill up and we’d love to have the community come join us for service. If you don’t have plans yet for a Church service on Easter Sunday, then come and try us out at Faith in the Word Church.” Wright says to “come as you are” with dress either casual or dressy. “We also have great programs for children and youth,” stated Wright.
