BetUS.com posts odds on Williams NFL future
For all the importance Ricky Williams placed on returning to the Miami Dolphins roster and competing at a high level last season, it seems drug use is a higher priority. Williams once again has been found in violation of the NFL’s drug policy.
This season, Williams ran for 743 yards and averaged 4.4 per carry and coach Nick Saban praised Williams’ attitude, work ethic and leadership. In fact Williams became such a model of good behavior that he was chosen co-winner of the local media’s annual postseason Good Guy Award, given to the player most cooperative with reporters.
Even though his comeback was regarded by many a success, his latest violation has drummed up speculation as to what he will be doing with himself next season. This being the case, the largest and most respected online sportsbooks, BetUS.com has posted odds as to just where the troubled running-back will end up.
“Pending his appeal, Ricky Williams is not looking like a viable rusher for the Dolphins.” states BetUS spokesperson Matt Ross “We would certainly welcome Ricky aboard BetUS.com should he want to escape media scrutiny and stay in the sports realm.”
