Wattie Wilburn Galyon, age 89 of South Knoxville went to be with the Lord unexpectedly Tuesday December 27, 2005. He was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Edna Jones Galyon. Brothers, Fred (Cot), Mayford, John, Wesly and Winford Galyon, sister, Dorothy Galyon, Mayme Crocksdale.
Survivors: Son and daughter-in-law: Mickey and Karen Galyon; Granddaughters: Rhonda Galyon and fiancé Kenneth Hughett, Jr., Stacy Long and husband Roger; Grandson: Chris Hopkins and fiancée Kristen Mueller; Great Grandsons: Wayne Long, Cameron Hughett; Several nieces and nephews; Special friends: Violet Jones, Juanita Lusk, and Rev. Phil Zook.
Funeral service 7PM Thursday at Atchley Funeral Home, Seymour with Rev. W.A. Galyon officiating. Family and friends will meet 11AM Friday at Valley Grove Cemetery for graveside service and interment.
