If we do NOT show love to one another, the world has a right to question whether Christianity is true. By love, the world will know that we are disciples of Jesus.
Share your Christian beliefs. Please come and join us for one of our Sunday worship services, held at 8:15 & 11:00 AM (Traditional), with a Contemporary Praise worship service at 9:30 AM. Sunday school classes are held at both 9:30 AM & 11:00 AM. The youth group meets each Sunday evening at 6:00 PM. We also have worship on Wed. evenings at 6:30 PM.
We salute those many folks who donated their time and/or new clothes to help the homeless and the less fortunate enjoy a decent Thanksgiving at Colonial Heights United Methodist Church. Surely God will bless you as much as you blessed others.
As December roars in, and we begin in earnest to celebrate the Advent season leading up to the birth of Jesus, may we be ever mindful that God teaches that it is far better to give than to receive.
There will be a multitude of Christmas related activities going on during the month of December. One, our annual “Gifts for the Christ Child” silent auction and basket raffle, is scheduled for 12/14/05. Contact Angela Patterson at 577-7405 for details.
