Now that the 2/278th Howitzer Regiment – Detachment 1 is home, the time for fun has begun and the Gatlinburg Attractions Association is making that easier in the coming weeks.
Deployed Sevier County members of the 278th Regiment and their immediate families have been invited as the guests of the Gatlinburg Attractions Association to enjoy complimentary admission to virtually every Gatlinburg attraction. The presentation of passes will be made on Saturday, December 3, during the celebration planned at the Pigeon Forge Community Center to honor these returning soldiers from Sevier County.
“This is both a ‘Welcome Home’ gift and a token of our appreciation for the role that these men and women have played in serving our country,” according to Cam Caton, President of the association.
The Gatlinburg Attractions Association is a trade association comprised of the owners and operators of twenty-four Gatlinburg attractions, all of whom can be found at www.attractions-gatlinburg.com
