A great opportunity to hear one of the nations leading authorities on Destination Development has been made possible by Keep Sevier Beautiful, along with Sevier County Bank and Leadership Sevier, have scheduled an important seminar titled “How Beautification Effects Tourism.”
The FREE seminar will take place on Thursday, December 1, 2005, from 1:OOPM – 4:OOPM at the Louise Mandrell Theater in Pigeon Forge.
“Senator Raymond Finney has RSVP’d and Tennessee’s of Tourism Development Commissioner Susan Whitaker has RSVP’d that Nicky Reynolds, East Tennessee Public Relation Marketing Manager will be attending,” Allison Teeters, executive director of Keep Sevier Beautiful told The Herald.
The seminar will feature well-known tourism speaker Roger Brooks, who will present his Ten Immutable Rules For Successful Tourism.
Brooks is a founding member of the award winning Destination Development team and has worked in tourism and economic development for more than 20 years.
He has become one of the most recognized experts in the field of tourism, consumer trends, marketing and project development in the country.
As Sevier County continues to evolve into one of the top tourist destinations in the southeast, maintaining the local natural beauty becomes an ever-greater challenge.
All Sevier Countians have a vested interest in the beauty of our area and have a responsibility for helping to meet this challenge.
