Missing Blount Co. woman
A body found in Illinois may be a missing East Tennessee woman.
Seventy-two-year-old Frances Graham went missing earlier this year. Her boyfriend’s son, Art Dockery, told police that both he and Graham were kidnapped but that he had managed to escape their captors.
Detectives in the case have filed a false reporting charge against Dockery.
The woman’s body was found near Metropolis, Ill. and investigators are working to compare medical and dental records with Graham’s to determine if they are, in fact her remains.
Dockery’s cell phone records put him in the Mount Vernon, Ill. area near the time Graham had gone missing.
Dockery is being held on non-related domestic violence charges.
